I’ve been interning there for a while now, check out my blog posts about them, see vid and pics of robots doing just this same thing:

I haven’t touched this project in a while, and I think there have been some much better projects I’ve seen more recently that might be a better start.
When I get round to finishing this off, I’ll be starting again with http://www.maxuino.org/ which includes “native” library support for servos.
