I’m still compiling this, I’ll remove this notice when I’m sure I have everything you actually need in this list:

You need to ask for order number #4pcb_Owen.

For 4 boards + 1 free one there is a deal of $33 each on a 5 day turn plus shipping and handling.
So the total cost would be $132 + shipping and handling ($15 if you go Ground).

  1. I just discovered I was missing a set of double width connection headers from the list above (I’m editing the list now). In the end I scavenged from an old CD drive I had laying about.

I also need to find and add links for wire and ribbon connectors, the ribbon’s I’m using drive cables for the time being.

  2. Hi JP,

I’m building an Arduinome now and liked your LEDs so I ordered them but I can’t quite figure out what resistor to use since 3.2V isn’t on the arduino resistor list. It’s kind of hard to tell from the pictures but is that a 27 k ohm 5% resistor?

    Thanks,
    Dustin

  3. It’s worth checking…

I ended up using a 27k one. I brought a big bag of them from Radio shack for $5 or something. Then had fun decoding the strips.

  4. I’ve added the IDC cables that I recently picked up to the list.

  5. Hi Jon,

Are you really using 100k pull-up resistors? (Resistor network.) Seems pretty high… I would’ve thought something like 10k, but unsped’s 4pcb.sch doesn’t seem to specify.

  6. Yup that’s the one I now have running in two shields with no issues at all. No idea if other resistance would work, it might. Hope that helps.

  8. I just bought an assorted 100 pack of 1/4watt 5% resistors from RadioShack and didn’t get any 27K resistors. You have to be lucky to get one. I guess I will have to order from the internet an wait another week.

I got none between 22k and 27k. The closest on the lower end wa 15k and higher was 100k. None look like yours in flickr. My resistor stripe calculations are right. I verified with a multimeter.

  11. Hi, I have a very basic question. The digikey parts list you have listed above. Is this the complete list for the whole build including the shield?

    Thanks

  12. The above is actually a parts list for 2 arduinomes, it’s my initial parts list and I wanted spares of everything in case something went wrong.

Digikey part is all the bits for the shield, the LED’s and the diodes, the sparkfun is the boards and the buttons.

  13. Building an 8×8 Arduinome.

Question: If I were going to start building an Arduinome today, what are my best options. You have a nice part list, but do the instructions on the flipmu website still apply? Can you provide some pointers?

    Thanks.
